Secure document drop
If you have a document, photo, video or information the public should know, send it to DIAR's newsroom here.
- Your message and files are encrypted in this browser before they leave your device; DIAR's server only ever sees unreadable data.
- Only the newsroom's private key, kept off the server, can open it, and the encrypted copy is deleted from the server once it is collected.
- No IP address, browser, account or exact time is stored with your message. You do not have to give your name.
Before you send
- Use a VPN or the Tor Browser, never a work network or work device.
- Photos and files can contain the location and the name of the device; if you can, send a screenshot of them instead.
- Do not tell anyone you sent it, and delete the files from your device afterwards.
- DIAR never publishes the name or details of a source, and verifies every document before publishing.
