DIAR: the news readers choose
DIAR has two parts: a page where readers find the most important news of the day and vote on it, and an independent newsroom that writes exclusive reports and in-depth analysis.
Independent
Not tied to any government or party.
In-depth
Exclusive reports built on data, documents and fact-checking.
Global
We see Iran in the context of the world.
Participatory
Your vote sets the order of the front page.
How does front-page ranking work?
score = (up − down + 1) ÷ (hours + 2)^1.5Every upvote raises a post's score, but its effect fades over time so that fresh news also has a chance to be seen. The newsroom can pin very important news to the top of the page.
